Now Hiring - Director of Membership in Harrisburg, PA

The Director of Membership is responsible for planning and implementing all activities related to membership recruitment, membership retention, and member services, including the marketing of these services to members and prospective members. Reports directly to NFRA’s President and CEO and works closely with entire NFRA staff in membership development/retention.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, implements, and evaluates membership marketing and retention plans to increase members and to increase the membership retention rate.
- Manages onboarding process and assists with member development.
- Develops and carries out membership renewal and acquisition campaigns, including dues billing and development/maintenance of member and prospect database and data integrity; oversees annual dues process.
- Develops, implements, and analyzes marketing and promotion for member services programs.
- Monitors, analyzes, and reports on results of recruitment and retention activities.
- Manages membership database features and upgrades and reports as needed.
- Serves as staff liaison to the Membership Committee. May serve as staff liaison to other NFRA committees.
- Identifies industry research available in support of recruitment, retention, and development.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent association experience.
- Background in membership databases and analysis of membership data required.
- Proficient in development of marketing materials and membership communications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Limited travel to NFRA meetings and other industry meetings as required.
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with members, non-members, and external partners.
- Provide expert customer service.
